· Our history
Amaoti Youth Changers (AYC) was found in 2007, by then it was an unregistered organisation called Siyanakekela, the organisation that time merely dealt with health issues.
The organisation was formed by high school learners from Amaoti schools mainly Amandlethu Secondary who were doing Grade 9 upward. They held meetings after school with an aim of finding new strategies to improve organisation's objectives.
Eventually members realize that the youth of Amaoti are not only affected by health issues but there are other fundamental human aspects that the youth are faced with hence, the organisation's objective are Economic development, Education promotion, Social cohesion and Sport and Arts promotion.
We pride ourselves in changing other people's life for the better through human spirit and promotion of Ubuntu in our communities, that start from members of the organisation by offering our time, skills and scarce resource we have.

We aim to reach wider community through by introducing our concept to university students who will in turn organise youth in their respective communities who needs the kind of service we are offering as an organisation.
We also aspire to facilitate the establishment youth center’s in the community were there are none, where youth will able to utilize those resources to further their aspiration.
